Los Angeles Business Council honors two HMC-designed projects at annual Los Angeles Architectural Awards

On Tuesday, June 29, 2010, the Los Angeles Business Council (LABC) hosted the 40th annual Los Angeles Architectural Awards, recognizing the project teams responsible for the city’s highest regarded architecture. HMC Architects was proud to be honored with two awards.

It’s official. The 14,000 square foot Frontier Project for the Cucamonga Valley Water District, designed by HMC Architects, has achieved LEED Platinum certification. Since this particular project was designed to educate visitors about the latest methods and technologies in sustainable building practices and resource conservation, this achievement was fundamentally important.

The County of Riverside Woodcrest Library won the Design/Green Merit Award from the Architectural Foundation of Los Angeles.
